The magical hills of Buda on Segway

Behold some of the most amazing UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Budapest, gathered in Buda Castle District, which sits on the top of 60-metre high Castle Hill. We will start our tour in the newer Pest, then smoothly ride across the Danube to the oldest part of the city through Elisabeth Bridge, also known as White Bridge. Along the way you will capture a scenic panorama of the Hungarian capital, outspread on both banks of the river. Once on the old side of Buda, you will find unique architectural buildings and monuments of various architectural styles: the magnificent Gothic of the late 14th century, the exquisite Renaissance and the majestic Baroque, extensively restored in the end of the 19th century. You will also see how diverse parts of this sumptuous castle came together, step by step built by kings of different eras, and visit the coronation site of Hungarian kings and monarchs. Immerse yourself in the history of royal Hungary as you breathe in refreshing air on your exciting Segway ride through the center of Budapest.

Conquer Castle on Segway

Our trip will begin with elegant and bright Elisabeth Bridge, named after the beloved Queen of Hungary Elisabeth (Sisi). Riding along the bridge on a Segway, you can easily cross the Danube admiring great panoramic views of the two “halves” of the city. Then we will go up to the Fisherman’s Bastion located on the top of Castle Hill, one of the highest points in Budapest. Next to the Fisherman’s Bastion, you will discover the gorgeous Matthias Church, also known as Coronation Church of Buda, and find a great viewpoint overlooking the city and the Danube embankment. We will continue our Segway journey in the center of Buda Castle, one of the main architectural landmarks of Budapest. After a smooth ride down to the foot of the hill, we will visit the statue of Queen Elisabeth, surrounded by a small cosy park, and catch some breeze on our way back to the office.
